Paloona Power Station Tour

Come on a guided tour of Paloona Power Station and learn how we turn the water that flows down the Forth River into electricity.

Located only 20 minutes from Devonport, Paloona Power Station uses water stored in Lake Paloona. It is the last power station in the Mersey-Forth catchment before it flows out to sea.

Time: Tours will run every 20 minutes from 10am until 2pm

Location: Paloona Dam Road, Paloona, 7310

 

No need to book – just turn up!

Tours will depart from the front entrance of the power station. Parking is available along the Paloona access road.

Please be advised that for safety reasons tour group sizes will be limited so there may be a short wait between tours during peak times.

Parking will be available at Paloona access road - signage and traffic advisors will be available on the day.

 

As this is a working station and for safety reasons there is very limited disabled and wheelchair access.

Please note the guided tour will involve accessing parts of the station by climbing up and down stairs.
