Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra Concert at Tarraleah - SOLD OUT

The world-renowned Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra will perform a one-off concert paying tribute to the people who built ‘the Hydro’, particularly the many migrant workers who’ve come to Tasmania over the past 100 years to work on development of the hydropower system. The performance will include classical music from Russia, Poland, Germany, Italy and other countries, and a specially commissioned work – Tarraleah.
In addition to the TSO performance, ticket holders can enjoy a complimentary lunch in the Highlander Restaurant and Bar, experience the 100 Years of Hydro exhibition, see a special screening of the People of the Hydro centenary documentary, and take a guided tour of the village.
12:30pm – 2pm: Complimentary lunch will be served for all ticket holders in the Highlander Restaurant and Bar.
2:30pm – 3:30pm: TSO performance in the Great Hall.
Enjoy at your leisure from 12 noon to 4 pm:
- 100 years of Hydro exhibition located near the Highland Store reception area
- People of the Hydro documentary screening on a continuous loop in the church
- Village tours departing from the Highland Store reception
Please note tickets must be presented for entry to the complimentary lunch and TSO concert.
